Contract Negotiations: 05/07/2024 & 06/03/2024

Takeaways from the 05/07/24 and 06/03/24 meetings:
• The 05/24/24 meeting was canceled.
• As previously noted, HACCEA and HACC Admin agreed to conduct the two May meetings “off the record” to encourage conversation and brainstorming. Since the 05/24/2024 meeting was canceled, those two meetings occurred 05/07/24 and 06/03/24.
• The discussions during the past two meetings have been more robust.

Dear colleagues,
HACCEA negotiations team members are reviewing their draft CBA and are revising to omit some redundancies and to make the contract language more succinct. We are also looking at combining some articles to make the contract itself clearer.
Our next meeting with HACC administration will be held on 6/10/24. We are in discussions regarding whether to continue the “off the record” approach or to go “on the record.”
